Homestead Ranch is proud to offer a great variety of luxurious, moisturizing body care products made from our fresh goat’s milk.

Goat Milk Soap

Our goat milk soap is rich in alpha-hydroxy acids (from the goat’s milk!) which helps remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface, leaving new cells on the surface of your skin that are smoother and younger looking. This benefit is natural in goat milk products. In other body care products, this is usually synthetically or chemically produced.

Three tubes of lip balm labeled "Coconut Tree" and "Mint Twist," featuring a light and fresh design, showcasing natural ingredients and moisturizing benefits.

Goat Milk Lip Balms

Our lip balms are moisturizing and Selenium-rich. Selenium is believed by scientists to have an important role in preventing skin cancer. Selenium can also help prevent damage to the skin from excessive time in the sun and goat’s milk contains this important skin healing mineral as well which gives our lip balms a natural sun-damage protection.

Three blue plastic lotion bottles arranged with one prominently displaying a label that reads "Goat Milk Lotion Amber Romance," showcasing a moisturizing product for skin care.

Goat Milk Lotions

Why goat milk-based lotion? Because goat’s milk has anti-bacterial properties that delay the growth of microbial organisms that spur the spread of acne. The cream present in goat’s milk is a natural moisturizer, soothing dry and damaged skin and possessing an anti-inflammatory effect.

Herd Share

Thank you for your interest in The Homestead Ranch Goat Herd Share Program! For those unfamiliar with the concept of herd sharing, also known as farm shares or goat shares, customers buy shares of a herd and thereby become owners! As an owner, the customer is now entitled to the milk from their share. Essentially, The Homestead Ranch Herd Share Program is a great way to enjoy the benefit of farm-fresh goat’s milk without all the work of housing and caring for the animals yourself!

WHy Herd Share?

In the state of Colorado, it is illegal to sell raw unpasteurized milk. However, if you are a part owner in a herd (herd share) then you have the right to obtain the herd’s milk. Our milk is tested monthly for unhealthy bacteria and our herd has been tested for both Brucellosis and Tuberculosis (TB) to ensure the milk you’re receiving is safe.

Why Raw Goat's Milk?

According to the Journal of American Medicine, “Goat’s milk is the most complete food known.” Check out our resources  page for more information about the health benefits of goat’s milk. What’s more, it tastes great!

How does the program work?

The Homestead Ranch Goat Herd Share Program is easy and breaks down like this:

  • $25 per Herd Share – A one time fee per share to join the program annually
  • $66.00 Boarding Fee – Charged monthly
